CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

These activities can increase your child’s opportunities to make friends and find a social niche. Many disabled kids have social challenges due to being neurodivergent. Like their neuro-typical peers, kids with disabilities have talents that need to be nurtured for building confidence in them. It’s important to recognize and build these talents and to engage their students in team-building activities. In TSWT we give emphasis on engaging our students in different cultural activities like:
- DANCE
- RECITATION
- MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS
- SONG
We organize and participate in different events like:
- The Poila Baisakh celebration was held in a digital platform during the lockdown period. Otherwise, we do celebrate the day with a get-together paired with various cultural events.
- Rabindra Jayanti celebrations in both online platforms during lockdown and offline platform post lockdown are organized every year, wherein our children do participate and enjoy.
- Celebration of World Environment day by planting trees and watering them.
- Celebration of events like Rath Yatra, Raksha Bandhan, and Janmashtami where children dress up like Lord Krishna and Radha to participate in the dance drama.
- Celebration of Independence Day where our children perform dance, song, recitation, etc.
- Celebration of Ganesh Chaturti where students participate in dance activities and model making of Ganesh by clay.
